Homeschool SciFun Camp: Science of Plants

You may have helped plant vegetables, herbs, and flowers in the spring.  Did you know that seeds of many plants, especially many of our native wildflowers, need to be exposed to cold temperatures before they can germinate?  It turns out that fall is a great time to start planting wildflower seeds!

To understand seeds and planting, we must learn how plants function.  We will observe and dissect different parts of plants and even learn how to identify common plants in the area as we walk around our wetlands…and get our hands a little dirty when we put seeds in the ground!

For elementary school age learners.

Camp runs October 26th. Drop-off for camps are from 8:00-8:20 (drop off) to 3:30-4:00 (pick-up).

Cost is $40 for members and $50 for non members (Members, please log in to your account and use the discount code previously emailed to you)
