SciFun Camp: Candle Making

Candle Making2.jpg

With longer nights coming and the sun lower on the horizon as we head into winter, the days are getting a little darker.  For hundreds of years, the only way to light a room was with a candle.  While we don’t rely on them so much for this purpose now, candles are still found everywhere as gifts.  It turns out they are easy to make, too.  In this JAM camp, you will learn to make your own candles from beeswax to take home!  Set a candle on the coffee table in your living room, or make one as a gift for the holiday season.  Either way, you will have learned a new skill and can be proud that you made it on your own.

For elementary and middle school age learners.

Camp runs from September 30th - October 1st. Drop-off for camps are from 8:00-8:20 (drop off) to 3:30-4:00 (pick-up).

Cost is $40 for members and $50 for non members (Members, please log in to your account and use the discount code previously emailed to you)
