SciFun Camp: Engineering and Architecture (Day 1 of 2)

What are your favorite things to build?  As it gets colder, and you’re looking for more things to do indoors, it’s a good time to think creatively and learn how engineers build their projects.  Start with an idea and a blueprint, and then develop your engineering skills to come up with a scale model of a bridge, a tower, or a home.

As you build your models, you will learn why things are built the way they are.  Hint: buildings that have stood for thousands of years are still standing because a few, simple concepts helped them last!  Sometimes, the simplest ideas yield the longest lasting structures.

For elementary school age learners.

This is a 2 day camp. Camp runs November 20th & 21st. Drop-off for camps are from 8:00-8:20 (drop off) to 3:30-4:00 (pick-up).

Cost is $80 for members and $100 for non members (Members, please log in to your account and use the discount code previously emailed to you)
