SciFun Camp: Science of Dinosaurs: Fossils to Birds

We’ve all heard of the most famous dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus rex, but what do you know about its smaller relatives, like Appalachiosaurus montgomeriensis?  Year after year, more and more dinosaur species continue to be discovered.  Year after year, we are learning more about how these animals lived.

In this camp, you will learn what modern technology has revealed about the lives of dinosaurs.  Learn how we know what dinosaurs ate, moved, cared for their young, and even what feathers were used for.  Of course, it all starts with finding fossils.  You will practice digging your own fossils in our fossil patties.

For elementary school age learners.

Camp runs February 8th. Drop-off for camps are from 8:00-8:20 (drop off) to 3:30-4:00 (pick-up).

Cost is $40 for members and $50 for non members (Members, please log in to your account and use the discount code previously emailed to you)
