The Great Plains contain some of the most unique and diverse environments in the United States. The creeks and wetlands of the area have a wide variety of organisms that you can only find here, and it’s important to learn how these ecosystems intertwine with our daily lives. In this camp, we will take advantage of the nature around us to learn about native animals, seasonal changes, and the complex food chains in our community. Campers will get to take tours of the wetlands in our own backyard and learn how these environments are interconnected. Each version of this camp is designed specifically for either early or late elementary ages.

3rd-6th grade: July 20th (Monday) - July 24th (Friday)
Drop-off for camps is from 8:30-9:00 am and pick-up is from 3:00-3:30 pm. Please email education@visitthemap.org with any questions.
